  • A large wall clock, prefer battery powered, quartz movement, analog face, 24 hour dial sweep second hand.
  • A rack or cubbyhole box with spaces for your logbook, copy paper and message forms if you handle written traffic.
  • A place to put your documentation on the last time you did an RF Hazard Station Safety Evaluation (required by FCC).
  • A place to keep equipment manuals for all your various pieces of radio equipment.
  • Framed license(s) and certificates on the wall somewhere where they can be seen.
  • Good lighting over the radio operating desk.
  • Some place to keep a supply of pens and pencils.
  • Headphones.
